THAT Council move into closed session to consider: 1) Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board regarding personnel matters; 2) Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees related to personnel matters; 3) Labour relations or employee negotiations related to personnel matters; Pursuant to Section 239 (2) (b) (d) and (e) of the Municipal Act. Council reconvened in open session at 7:07 p.m. with all members present save and except for Councillor Prinzen and Councillor Hirsch. Motion 2025-480 was a deferral motion, Motion 2025-481 was a motion to receive a confidential report and provide direction to staff on a labour relations matter. Motion 2025-482 was a motion to adjourn closed session and resume sitting in open session. Reports Arising from Closed Meeting There were none. Announcements 7.1 Councillor Braney provided a notice of motion regarding an economic development task team, including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Director of Visit the County, the Executive Director of Bay of Quinte Marketing Board, Leadership from Prince Edward County Federation of Agriculture and Agro-tourism leadership, Council and staff. 7.2 Councillor Roberts reminded of the annual Sophiasburgh trash bash to take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Northport Centennial Park. 7.3 Mayor Ferguson advised that the County-wide Owen Jones trash bash was also taking place this weekend. 7.4 Councillor St-Jean advised of the second year of County Adaptation Film Festival to be held on September 26, 27, 28, 2025 at the Regent Theatre. 7.5 Councillor Pennell provided notice of motion regarding a public meeting to look for cost savings for the 2026 budget process. 7.6 Mayor Ferguson offered congratulations to Angela Miller on her induction in the Quinte Agricultural Wall of Fame. 7.7 Mayor Ferg
