WHEREAS the nation, the province and the County are facing increasingly complex economic challenges; and WHEREAS communications, co-operation and collaboration across community groups and organizations can serve to foster a co-ordinated approach to meeting these challenges; and WHEREAS collaboration is highlighted as a pillar of the municipality's Economic Development Action Plan; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT staff be directed to report with a Terms of Reference for an Economic Development Working Group to serve as a forum for sharing information, aligning efforts, and identifying opportunities to strengthen the local economy through coordination action. 11.5 Resolution from Councillor Pennell seeking Council support to hold a meeting to gather public input on potential cost savings prior to 2026 budget considerations
