WHEREAS increases to the 2026 Operating Budget are anticipated; and WHEREAS Council must use creative thinking to reduce spending, cut costs and protect the finances of the County; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Mayor Ferguson be directed to call a Special Council meeting for the sole purpose of looking at opportunities to decrease municipal spending and costs in advance of the 2026 Budget process.
