Public Meeting 5.1 Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Ameliasburgh Town Hall, 13 Coleman Street, Ameliasburgh The following members of the public spoke on the issue: Dennis Fox, Brian Montgomery, Gerry Ingles, Dale Wood, and Ron Hubbs Points raised included: • concerns over RFP issuance to a firm from Ottawa/Toronto that does not understand rural context; • urban vs rural divide; • the history of size of council/ward boundaries; • ratios for representation; • importance of public input; • the clear need for public education throughout the phases of this matter; and • lack of communication/notice of these public meetings.
