THAT Council move into closed session to consider: 1) Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board regarding a property in Ward 1; 2) Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose regarding a property in Ward 1; 3) Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees regarding staffing matters; Pursuant to Section 239 (2) (a), (e), and (f) of the Municipal Act. Council reconvened in open session at 7:07 p.m. with all members present, save and except for Councillor Braney and Councillor Prinzen. Motion 2025-536 was a motion the receive a confidential report and provide direction to staff on a staffing matter and to bring a motion forward in open session. Motion 2025-537 was direction to legal staff regarding litigation or potential litigation with respect to a property in Ward 1. Council recessed closed session at 7:00 p.m. and reconvened at 9:59 p.m. with all members present save and except for Councillor Braney, Councillor Prinzen and Councillor Roberts.
