THAT the Community Services, Programs & Initiatives Department Operating Budget as presented be received. THAT Council recommend that if $150K be allocated to the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre (PEFAC) in the draft 2026 budget that $80K of that allocation be funded through reductions in the Community Services, Programs & Initiatives Department 2026 operating budget. THAT staff be directed to review the Ward Recreation Committee funding program and report back on the annual funding allocated to the Ward Recreation Committees for Council consideration. THAT Council recommend that funds in the amount of up to $20K from the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) revenue be used to pay for Pumpkinfest and Canada Day festivities in Wellington in the draft 2026 budget. THAT Council recommend that an additional $80,00.00 be allocated to the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre (PEFAC) in the draft 2026 budget contingent on the appointment of a member of Council to the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre (PEFAC) Board. THAT Council recommend that an additional $37,500.00 be allocated to the Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors Association in the draft 2026 budget.
