THAT report DS-23-2026 regarding the Bloomfield Main Street Rehabilitation Tender Award be received; THAT Council award contract PEC-INI-0218-2026 to Drew Harrison Haulage Ltd. in the amount of $1,447,410.00 plus applicable taxes for construction services for the rehabilitation of Bloomfield Main Street; and THAT a By-Law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the County of Prince Edward and Drew Harrison Haulage Ltd., as listed on this agenda, be approved. Councillor Harrison and Councillor MacNaughton returned to the Council Chambers. 11.2 Report of the Operational Services Department dated March 10, 2026 regarding Award of Tenders - Surface Treatments and Micro Surfacing The main motion was put on the floor by Councillor Hirsch and Councillor St-Jean. A question and answer period ensued regarding: • Victoria Road; • the contingency plan and segments; • the surface treatment for low volume roads; • ensuring there are traffic counts; • quality assurance; • the lack of fuel index pricing; • the two-year warranty period; and • ensuring the asset management plan is adhered to.
