THAT report OPS-12-2026 regarding the Award of Tender for Grass Cutting Services be received; THAT Council award Tender PEC-OPS-6-26 (Grass Cutting Services) Ameliasburgh, Picton, and Wellington Wards to 2842793 Ontario Inc. based on pricing submitted, plus applicable taxes on an annual basis for the next three years; THAT Council award Tender PEC-OPS-6-26 (Grass Cutting Services) Bloomfield/Hallowell and Hillier Wards to Breadman Property Care based on pricing submitted, plus applicable taxes on an annual basis for the next three years; THAT Council award Tender PEC-OPS-6-26 (Grass Cutting Services) North Marysburgh Ward to Martin's Construction & Demolition Inc. based on pricing submitted, plus applicable taxes on an annual basis for the next three years; THAT Council award Tender PEC-OPS-6-26 (Grass Cutting Services) Athol, South Marysburgh, and Sophiasburgh Wards to Find A Way Property Maintenance Inc. based on pricing submitted, plus applicable taxes on an annual basis for the next three years; and THAT a By-Law authorizing the execution of individual agreements for Tender PEC-OPS-6-26 (Grass Cutting Services) between the County of Prince Edward and 2842793 Ontario Inc., Breadman Property Care, Martin's Construction & Demolition Inc., and Find A Way Property Maintenance Inc., as listed on this agenda, be approved. 11.3 Report of the Operational Services Department dated March 24, 2026 regarding Award of Tender - Line Painting and Pavement Marking The main motion was put on the floor by Councillor Nieman and Councillor Roberts. A question and answer period ensued regarding: • how there have been several crosswalk requests throughout the municipality; • how a spring application and fall application for high traffic roads is completed by other municipalities due to paint quality; • the opportunity to review the program and potential reductions; and, • the commemorative crosswalk locations and ensuring the pride crosswalks are painted prior to June.
