THAT report RCF-03-2026 regarding the Crystal Palace Roof Replacement be received; THAT Council award procurement file BLD-0228-26 to Semple Gooder Roofing Corporation in the amount of $447,659.00, plus applicable taxes for the procurement and installation of a new roof at the Crystal Palace site, located at 375 Picton Main Street; and THAT a by-law to authorize the execution of an agreement between The Corporation of the County of Prince Edward and Semple Gooder Roofing Corporation, as listed on the agenda, be approved. 11.3 Report of the Operational Services Department dated May 12, 2026 regarding the Award of Tender for a Wheel Loader The main motion was put on the floor by Councillor Prinzen and seconded by Councillor Nieman. A question and answer period ensued regarding: • the bidding process; • how all suppliers are part of the bidding process; • if any bidders were local; and • recognition the procurement is under budget.
