THAT report DS-35-2026 regarding the County Road 49 Rehabilitation Tender Award be received; THAT Council award contract PEC-INI-0217 to R.W. Tomlinson Ltd. in the amount of $18,679,000 plus applicable taxes for construction services for the rehabilitation of County Road 49; and THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the Construction Services Agreement between the County of Prince Edward and R.W. Tomlinson Ltd; THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the Transfer Payment Agreement between The Corporation of the County of Prince Edward and the Crown, as represented by the Minister of Transportation, upon receipt of the new Transfer Payment Agreement from the Ministry; THAT by-laws authorizing the execution of the Construction Services Agreement and Transfer Payment Agreement between the corporation of the County of Prince Edward and Crown, as represented by the Ministry of Transportation, be brought forward to the next feasible Council meeting. Councillor Harrison returned to the Council Chamber.
