THAT report FIN-18-2026 regarding the Council Remuneration update be received; THAT report FIN-13-2026 regarding the Council Compensation Review and Policy Update, available as Attachment 1 to this report, be received for information; THAT Council receive the Stratford Group Council Remuneration Original Review, available as Attachment 2 to this report; THAT Council receive the Stratford Group Council Remuneration Supplemental Review, available as Attachment 3 to this report; THAT Council approve the updates to the Council Remuneration and Expense Policy CLS-08, as outlined in Attachment 4 to this report; and THAT Council select one of the following compensation approaches: Option 4 – Maintain the current Council remuneration framework. THAT Council remuneration for the Mayor and Members of Council be adjusted in accordance with Option 4, effective January 1, 2027. Mayor Ferguson requested if any other members would like to choose another option. Councillor MacNaughton noted their intent to bring forward a motion with option 2.
