THAT report FIN-17-2026 regarding the Drinking Water Financial Plan Compliance Update be received; and THAT Council approve the Drinking Water Financial Plan, available as Attachment 1 to this report, in accordance with the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act and Ontario Regulation 453/07. 11.5 Report of the Development Services Department dated June 23, 2026 regarding Wellington Trunk Main and Sanitary Pumping Station Project Overage The main motion was put on the floor by Councillor MacNaughton and seconded by Councillor Grosso A question and answer period ensued regarding: • the necessity to fulfill the agreement; • expressing concern for the overage; • the lessons learned from this infrastructure project, inclusive of better scope in procurement to provide more protection from risk; • the offsetting costs from the Picton Main Street phase 2 project; • if there is recourse for liability with the consultant; • the amount of change orders on the project.
