THAT the recommendation of the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee Cultural Heritage Master Plan motion to mitigate risk to listed heritage properties

THAT the recommendation of the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee Cultural Heritage Master Plan motion to mitigate risk to listed heritage properties be deferred to the next feasible meeting. THAT Council direct staff to work with the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee and other parties named in the consultant's report as contributors to develop a process for implementation of the Cultural Heritage Master Plan's recommendations to be brought forward to Council for consideration within the next six months; and THAT Council direct staff to work with the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee on options to mitigate risk to heritage properties identified as listed but not designated caused by changes made to the Ontario Heritage Act resulting from Bill 23 recognizing the January 1, 2027 deadline for listed properties.
