Items for Consideration 11.1 Report of the Housing Department dated February 24, 2026 regarding Housing and Homelessness Update The main motion was put on the floor by Councillors St-Jean and Pennell. A discussion period ensued regarding: • the utilization of the Community safety well-being plan; • continuing to collectively bring the agencies together; • how can the administration incorporate the housing lens on all operations; • how Council has made 'housing that is affordable' a strategic priority; • ensuring there is a connective tissue to addressing housing and homelessness; and • working with HealthPULSE group and the Eastern Ontario Wardens Caucus.
