THAT supplementary report CLS-04-2026 and report CLS-38-2025 regarding the Administrative Monetary Penalties By-Law Update be received; THAT a By-Law to Amend By-Law 4519-2019, being a By-Law to Establish a System of Administrative Penalties for Non-Compliance with By-Laws of The County of Prince Edward, be brought forward to the next feasible Council meeting for enactment; THAT a By-Law to Provide for the Appointment of Screening and Hearing Officers for the Purposes of Administration of an Administrative Monetary Penalty System Within The County of Prince Edward, be brought forward to the next feasible Council meeting for enactment; and THAT the Appointment of Screening and Hearing Officers Policy, as listed on the agenda, be approved. 11.3 Verbal report from Tim Kraemer, Interim Fire Chief regarding “Housekeeping” update to By-Law 77-2021, By-Law to regulate and control open air burning Tim Kraemer, Interim Fire Chief provided an update on this matter. Councillor Prinzen highlighted the incompatibility with this By-Law and the use of fireworks and ensuring staff explore the development of a potential fireworks by-law.
