THAT Option 1 – Maintain 100% of Park Assets in Fair or Better Condition be selected for the Parks & Recreation municipal asset class for inclusion in the County’s Asset Management Plan. The vote was then taken on Motion CW-112-2025 As Amended as follows: THAT Report FIN-12-2025 regarding establishing Levels of Service for municipal asset classes be received; THAT the following service level options be included in the County’s Asset Management Plan to be brought forward to Council for final approval at the September 25, 2025 meeting: • Bridges: Proposed Level of Service - Bridge Condition Index (BCI) ≥ 70 across the network • Roads: Option 1 – High Service Level (PCI 83) • Corporate Fleet: Option 2 – Extend Fleet Lifecycles by 25% • Fire Fleet: Proposed Level of Service - Maintain existing service model for ~2 years while updating Community Risk Assessment (CRA) and creating a Master Fire Plan • Facilities: Option 2 – Reduce Priority Buildings by 25% • Equipment: Proposed Level of Service - Maintain All Equipment in Fair Condition or Better • Parks & Recreation: Option 1 – Maintain 100% of Park Assets in Fair or Better Condition; and THAT staff be directed to incorporate the selected service levels into the County’s Asset Management Plan and reflect the financial impacts in the 2026 budget process.
