Due to connectivity issues, Councillor MacNaughton vacated the meeting at 2:19 p.m. Items for Consideration 7.1 Report of the Operational Services Department dated July 23, 2026 regarding the Prince Edward County Climate Action Plan Albert Paschkowiak, Environmental Services & Sustainability Supervisor, provided a PowerPoint presentation. A question and answer period ensued regarding: • the impacts of climate change on the municipality; • building the climate action reserves; • the impact of upper levels of government on climate change; • collaboration with other departments; • exploring grant applications with business institutions; • the impact of climate change on water wells; • impact of greenhouse gas emissions; and • the requirement for the climate risk and vulnerability assessment and tie with the asset management plan.
