Deputations 5.1 Linda Conley, Wellington Legion Manor Corporation to address Committee regarding a Property tax waiver request in accordance with the Capital Facilities By-Law, 161-2022 Linda Conley, Wellington Legion Manor Corporation addressed the Committee regarding a Property tax waiver request in accordance with the Capital Facilities By-Law, 161-2022. She noted the rising costs of property tax, hydro, and water rates are putting a strain on their ability to offer lower rent to seniors. She identified that the facility's current rates are below current market rates. A question and answer period ensued regarding the funding and subsidization breakdown of the various units.
