THAT the deputation by Linda Conley, Wellington Legion Manor Corporation regarding a Property tax waiver request in accordance with the Capital Facilities By-Law, 161-2022 be received. Items for Consideration 7.1 Report of the Housing Department dated February 12, 2026 regarding Request for New Agreement under the Municipal Capital Facilities By-Law for Municipal Housing Project Facilities - Wellington Manor Corporation Councillor St Jean and Councillor Prinzen moved to put the motion on the floor. A question and answer period ensued regarding: • the limitations of the current program for renters; • the upcoming review of the program and opportunity to expand to provide relief for low-income seniors who rent; and • staff partnering with PELASS on financial relief options.
