THAT report HD-01-2026 regarding Request for New Agreement under the Municipal Capital Facilities By-Law for Municipal Housing Project Facilities -Wellington Manor Corporation be received; THAT a By-Law to designate the property owned by the Wellington Manor Corporation and known municipally as 68 Maple Street, Wellington, as a Municipal Capital Facility, as permitted under section 110 of the Municipal Act, as amended, and Ontario Regulation 603/06, as amended, be brought forward for Council approval at the next feasible Council meeting; and THAT upon the passing of the Designating By-Law, the Chief Administrative Officer and the Director of Finance & Information Technology (Treasurer) be authorized to execute a Municipal Capital Facilities Project Agreement, in a form satisfactory to the Municipal Lawyer, to exempt the property from taxation for municipal and school board purposes annually for the duration of the agreement and on the terms and conditions set out in such agreement.
