THAT section 3.2 be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: No person shall place or permit to be placed an election sign for a municipal election until the candidate has filed their nomination with the Clerk, or in the case of a Registered Third Party Advertiser, registered with the Clerk or designate, in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act; and in no event shall any election sign be placed prior to the close of the nomination period (August 24, 2026) in the year of the election.
