THAT the comments from the audience be received for information. Items for Consideration 7.1 Report of the Community Services, Programs and Initiatives Department dated April 9, 2026 regarding the Municipal Financial Relief Grant 2026 Guidelines The main motion was put on the floor by Councillor St-Jean and Councillor Roberts. A question and answer period ensued regarding: • proof of eligibility; • the need for a rural component; • the comparators utilized; • the attestation process regarding assets and unreported income; • the downloading of responsibilities; and • the communication mechanisms of the grant, such as part of the water bills, newspaper ads, social media, website and reaching out to past applicants.
