THAT report CLS-10-2026 regarding "Bring-Your-Own” Alcoholic Beverages -Amendments to the Liquor Licence and Control Act be received; THAT Council declines to authorize the "Bring-Your-Own" alcohol permit stream for public spaces; and THAT Council affirms the continued observation of established provincial regulatory frameworks, such as Special Occasion Permits and other authorized licensing endorsements, where the sale, service, and oversight of alcohol are managed by a designated permit holder in compliance with the Liquor Licence and Control Act. 7.4 Report of the Corporate and Legislative Services Department dated May 14, 2026 regarding Proposed Amendments to By-Law 143-2022, being a By-Law to Regulate Noise within the County of Prince Edward (the "Noise By-Law") The main motion was put on the floor by Councillor Branderhorst and Councillor Pennell.
