THAT Committee move into closed session to consider: • litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board (Ontario Land Tribunal matter); • a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board (potential land transfer and surplus property) • labour relations or employee negotiations (Volunteer Firefighter contract negotiations) Pursuant to Section 239 (2) (e) (c) and (d) of the Municipal Act. Motion CW-98-2026 was the motion to provide instruction to the CAO on an Ontario Land Tribunal matter, Motion CW-99-2026 approve a land transfer. Motion CW-100-2026 provided instruction to staff on the volunteer firefighter contract negotiations and Motion CW-101-2026 was the motion to adjourn closed session and resume sitting in open session. The meeting reconvened in open session at 3:01 p.m. with all members present save and except Councillor Phil St-Jean, Councillor Prinzen, Councillor Pennell and Councillor Grosso.
